The committee will request, collect, and report information for Appalink, the ASA website and social media. The committee will coordinate with ASA President, Conference Program chair, and Local Arrangements Chair for release of conference news. The Appalink editor shall be responsible for the publication of Appalink.

The Communications Committee shall be chaired by the Appalink Editor and shall consist of the Chairperson or co-chairpersons and committee members responsible for public relations. In addition, the Appalink editor/chairperson may appoint three (3) additional ASA members to the committee who will serve as liaisons to all other standing committees, ensuring strong communication among committees and consistent reporting to the membership.
